The cottage is situated approximately three miles from Tarbert on the A859 north towards Stornoway.

Head north out of Tarbert on the A859 for 3 miles, turn left just after the petrol pumps at Ardhasaig Filling Station (on your right). The cottage is at the bottom of the lane, on the right, next to the seashore. The drive is accessed over a cattle grid and there is a large ‘Seaside Cottage’ sign on the property.

You can travel from Uig in Skye to Tarbert in 1 hour 40 minutes by Calmac ferry. Alternatively, you can choose the longer crossing of approximately 2hrs 40mins from Ullapool (an hour from Inverness) to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.

During your journey across the Minch you can take in an array of islands, as well as carry out a bit of dolphin and porpoise spotting!
